Javier Treviño, Director General for Public Policy, Mexican Business Council (CCE) and Founder and President of Javier Treviño Associates will present on “The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA): New Thinking for North America.”
The United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) replaces the 25-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), with the goal of enhancing economic growth in North America while addressing emerging matters related to intellectual property, digital trade, De minimis, financial services and the environment. The USMCA implementation, coinciding with the COVID-19 economic recovery, presents challenges for the Mexican private sector, and will require new thinking for a North American region.
